QCA Art & Design Unit 6B :    What a Performance
(Link to: Standards Site)

There is currently one project available for this Unit. It was developed in 2002 by Plympton St. Maurice Primary School, Plymouth by Sue Soper, Head Teacher and Marie Hart to whom grateful thanks are extended for their enthusiasm and generous support in the production of this project.

The activities developed with Plympton St. Maurice Primary School involve an investigation into different styles of headwear followed by a design & make task. Other themes that could be used to develop this project in the future could focus around the theme of 'a hat for a purpose' i.e. a builders hard hat or an astronauts helmet.
