There is currently one project available for Unit 5B. It was developed in February 2004 in association with Mount Street Primary School, Plymouth. Thanks are due to Mary Wakling (Art Coordinator) for her support and interest in developing this project.

During this project children explored a range of containers examining style, design, materials, function and purpose. They took on the role of designer and developed skills in weaving willow before making their own 'dream' container. These sessions could also be used to work in any craft and design style and media.

A range of images have been selected from the prints and illustrated books in the Cottonian Collection to support the 'Containers' project. They include varying subject matter such as landscapes, Interiors and specific engravings of containers.
